Trump: Apple, Nvidia, TSMC, Others to Shift Operations to U.S.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that many companies, which previously produced most of their products in China, have pledged to invest in the U.S..
He noted that Apple (AAPL.US) has committed to investing USD5 billion; Oracle (ORCL.US) has pledged USD500 million; Nvidia (NVDA.US) has promised a "hundred-billion-dollar plan"; Meta (META.US) has committed USD500 billion; and TSMC (TSM.US) has also pledged USD200 billion.
Trump further warned that any country or entity attempting to circumvent tariffs would face consequences. He also advised them to purchase American goods and treat the U.S. fairly in economic matters to avoid tariffs.
